Well, this week Alexander weighs about 2 1/2 pounds! He is around 15" form head to heel and his bones and brain are finishing forming! It's so crazy. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and have to do a glucose test that I have to drink this orange-soda looking drink. They described it as "flat Sunkist." Hooray. haha.
Last week I went up to Arkansas and spent time with my mom, dad, and dog Hayley! It was nice being up there, but I was ready to come home and be with Jason after the 3 or 4 nights I was there.
I have been trying to go off my Zofran pump, and the other day they told me to take it out over night but I ended up having it out for about 12 hours. And that 12 hours did not go well. I am still feeling not 100% recovered from the time without the pump. That kind of upsets me, but I will have to take it out again tonight and put it back in as SOON as I wake up so that it is not out of me for more than 8 hours.
Jason and I have also been looking more at wedding venues and thinking about dates. Also, about the role Alexander will play in the wedding! Who knows? Maybe Gabriel and Alexander can walk (well, Alexander might be able to try to walk) down the aisle as the ring-bearers.
Well, that's all for now. If you want to read more about baby Alexander, go to Baby Center!

27 Weeks- Beginning of the 7th month!
Hello all!
I am officially in my third trimester now! 6 months pregnant, starting my 7th month now, and I am not sure which way I feel; some days I wish it was December already so I could just have baby Alexander and not have to deal with being pregnant anymore! Then again, I know that as soon as Alexander arrives I won't have time to just sit around the house and watch TV all day long... I'll be caring for baby and feeding him, and changing 1,000 diapers a day, all on about 2 hours of sleep. YIPEE!
Right now Alexander weighs about 2 pounds and is 14 1/2 inches long! He is opening and closing his eyes, and he may even be sucking on his fingers. I can't believe it! He is only 3 short months away from making his appearance! Exciting!
Yesterday Jason, Carolyn, Eileen, Deverie, and I all went to the Wedding Stroll at the Dallas Arboretum. As soon as I looked at the price list my heart dropped a little. The venue is beautiful and would make for an amazing wedding, but I feel like $4,000 just to rent the location is a bit much. Don't you agree? Ah well. We will keep on looking I suppose! We have some other prospects, but everyone that specializes in weddings charges so much! *sigh*
Talk to you next week! Thanks for reading!

26 Weeks
Alexander is 26 weeks developed as of last Thursday!! According to BabyCenter:
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
Alexander has been kicking a lot, which is a great sign, but I can feel his little feet getting closer and closer to my rib cage every day. Not looking forward to that first kick behind my ribs. Ouch.
We are officially out of the apartment now! Jason turned in our keys on Friday and all of our boxes and bags are at the house now. Jason hung the new blinds this morning and now we are going to have to tackle the last of the boxes (half of which are full of our enormous collection of DVDs). It's nice to be in Frisco, where civilization exists beyond just campus and bars... Thank goodness for shopping and restaurants!
Yesterday was the Dallas Flea and sadly I didn't get to go. :( Jason had to help his mom clean out the garage and by the time that was done it was almost four- when the Flea ended. I guess I'll have to wait until next year to go to the next one.
Well, back to trying to get Jason to help me with unpacking. Wish me luck!

25 Weeks: Moving & Being Bored
BabyCenter: 25 Weeks
This week, Alexander is 13 1/2 inches from head to heel and about a pound and a half! Growing quickly now! I can't see anything below my belly anymore when I look down, so that's kind if unsettling, haha.
For the past week or so we've been spending a lot of time in Frisco helping Jason's parents finish up the upstairs for us and it looks great! Floors are down, painting is almost finished, and we have already begun bringing a few things over there. We are moving a lot in this weekend hopefully, and everything else will be boxed up for movers coming on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, our apartment has decided it hates us. Both our washer & dryer broke at the exact same time and to me the apartment has an odd odor that Jason can't smell; then again I have always thought it smelled kind of strange.
Our next doctors appointment is September 10th, and I am already starting a list in my head of things to ask him. Classes at the hospital, frequency of appointments during my third trimester (which starts on September 17!), any do's and don'ts that have changed, and so many more. Any suggestions?
My major problem now is keeping busy. With Jason at class all day I have become QUITE bored. Having always been a busybody, I am not too sure what to do with myself now. No class, no sorority, no friends that are on the same schedule as me... I have done all the scrapbooking I can possibly do (including preparing a scrapbook to use for Alexander), I have read almost every single book I own (the ones that sounded interesting), and of course now I am just left with television and internet. With no money to spend on anything other than food, I have limited options. Maybe I will take up window shopping as a full-time hobby. Who knows! But once I get to Frisco my tasks are few & simple: Begin the nesting process, join a MOPS group, find a church (whether Jason goes with me or not! lol). Hopefully those things will help me meet people and keep me busy!
Wish me luck!
