Well, here we are. Back at the house with our brand new baby Alexander Kebbie Turner. It was tough making him leave his comfy home, but it was all worth it just to see him come out kicking and screaming. I got to cut the umbilical and it was absolutely insane. Well we have gone from sleeping until the day is well under way to waking up many times during the night. Im still trying to figure out how something soo cute and adorable during the day, can make you want to tear your hair out at night.
Lets see... funny stuff... hmm. So a few days into having Alexander home with us, he has turned out to be a real poop machine. Amy had finished a feeding with Alex, and the exact moment she handed him to me he let out a earsplitting poot, and a smell that could make a clown frown. Well she started cracking up, and I was too, because the moment that happened, she said, "You touched him last you get to change him."

Juuuuust miserable
I'm full term, and due in about a week. My back is killing me, my belly has doubled in size (and I have the stretch marks to prove it), and I am going to scream if I don't deliver soon. I have had two false labor incidents (one including a trip to the hospital at 1 am on Friday night). Now, the doctor says we are just waiting. Hopefully, he says, it will not come to labor induction but if I'm still pregnant on the 18th, it probably will.
Please keep us in your prayers and let's all hope for a smooth delivery, a smooth SOON delivery.

Daddy Post #3 Baby Dream
Well I had a very unusual baby dream last night. Its quite funny, because I normally don't have too many baby dreams.
So in my dream:
We went to the hospital because Amy was in labor. When we got her there, the doctors were like, "No she is not in labor, its just false labor pains."
Well Amy had the baby anyway, and the doctors kept up the, "This is natural. Sometimes the mother will have false labor pains, and the baby will come, but its not true labor." Soo they told us to stay overnight. The baby had been born but they did not want to cut the umbilical cord until Amy had "True Labor."
Well after a day Amy went back into labor and they were able to cut the umbilical cord, and everything was okay. So we went home, and the doctor said we might see some advanced behavior from Alexander, since he was born before true labor.
Well that day, we where at home and Amy was feeding him, and everyone was soo impressed because he was two days old. He was able to sit up and crawl around, pick up little snacks with his finger (which in the dream were garlic croutons...) and eat them.
And to top it all off everyone was like "He is so mature for his age. When Amy gets the snacks and pulls out scissors Alexander can smell the scissors and know its food time!?"
yep hurray for crazy dreams.
